Common compliance questions
Can we get a Certificate of Insurance (COI) before booking?
Yes. COIs are issued directly to shippers upon contract execution and typically delivered within one business day of request. Contact dispatch with the certificate-holder details and we will route it through MDX Insurance Services.
Where can I independently verify your operating authority?
On FMCSA's SAFER carrier snapshot, linked from the buttons above and from our footer. The snapshot shows our active authority, insurance on file, and reported mileage — the same record we provide to every shipper who asks.
Are your drivers company employees or owner-operators?
All drivers operate under our authority as employees of Great West Auto Inc. We do not subcontract loads to outside owner-operators, and we do not broker loads to other carriers.
If a vehicle is damaged in transit, what is your response timeline?
Note damage on the BOL at delivery before the driver leaves and email admin@greatwest-auto.com with photos within 24 hours. We acknowledge claims within one business day and communicate a resolution timeline within five business days. See the Claims Process section above for the full workflow.
